See who does best with ten people in the audience.
The catch?
No one in the audience speaks English.

this sounds like Ha Comedy club to me.
my worst story is this. On a Wed night I performed in front of 3 beautiful ladies who met in a hostel, all spoke little english. They even spoke differnt mother tongues (French, Czech, Italian). I did 10 minutes with them as the only audience members.
The next night I do a show at the Village Lantern, the only audience to show up where these 3 ladies.

Last night was a hostel show at 106th and CPW. Everyone was French - like seven girls and their three professors (here to film a documentary) - teh girls sat in front and teachers sat in back. Throughout teh show, the girls talked to each other, laughing, oblicvious to what we were saying while the professors sat stone faced.
Awesome.
